A few things from home.
Once your booking is confirmed, we will agree drop off and collection times and go through anything we need to know before you arrive. Please bring a suitable, secure cage or enclosure, enough of your pet’s usual food for the whole stay, their bowls or water bottles, and their usual bedding or cage lining where appropriate. Familiar toys, perches and hides are welcome where suitable for the agreed accommodation. Label belongings where practical so we can keep everything organised.
An ordinary day, in your own words.
A few written notes about an ordinary day with your pet are very helpful. Tell us when and what they eat, how you prepare their food, how they like to be approached and what helps them feel settled. It does not need to be a formal document. Include the little things you would want someone to know. Please discuss any health conditions, medication or specialist care with us before the booking is confirmed, as these arrangements must be agreed in advance. We will also need your contact details, an emergency contact and your usual vet’s details.
Before you arrive.
If your pet becomes unwell before arrival, or anything changes that could affect their stay, please contact us so we can discuss it together. Questions about packing or arrival arrangements are welcome at hello@parrotverse.app. Full payment is due at drop off, by cash or bank transfer. If paying by bank transfer, please allow enough time for the funds to reach our account before you drop off your pet.
